Finance Administrator

We’re looking for a Finance Administrator who can manage a varied workload, use their initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be a key part of our sociable, hardworking team, helping to keep the day-to-day financial operations running smoothly while ensuring both tenants and landlords receive excellent service.

You are:

  • Efficient and extremely organised, with a keen eye for detail
  • A fast learner who can use your initiative and manage a varied workload
  • Methodical in your approach to tasks
  • Experienced in a finance or accounts-based role
  • A natural problem-solver
  • Friendly, professional, and enthusiastic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

You’ll be:

  • Reconciling all money in and out of our client bank accounts accurately through our software system on a daily basis
  • Auditing, investigating, and resolving issues with client accounts
  • Following procedures closely to chase defaults in rent payments
  • Processing purchase and sales invoices on client accounts
  • Ensuring Coapt complies with all relevant legislation around holding and processing client money
  • Communicating effectively with landlords and tenants to provide excellent service and resolve account queries
  • Being part of a small, close-knit team of property managers looking after a portfolio of clients and properties
  • Returning deposits during our busy summer period for the properties in your portfolio
  • Contributing ideas to help develop and streamline business processes

Salary: £27,000-£29,000 DOE

Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00am – 5.30pm
