Lettings Negotiator (Part time/flexible working)

We’re Coapt, Brighton’s leading student letting agency, and we’re looking for an experienced, friendly, and organised Lettings Negotiator to join our team.
We recognise that people work best in different ways, so we’re open to discussing part-time hours or flexible working patterns alongside the needs of the role.
You’ll be matching applicants to the right properties, carrying out viewings, and guiding people through the lettings process with confidence and care.
What you’ll be doing:
- Acting as the first point of contact for applicants – professional, friendly, and helpful
- Matching applicants to suitable properties based on their needs
- Booking and conducting property viewings
- Creating accurate and engaging property listings
- Providing landlords with feedback and market insight
- Negotiating offers in a fair and commercially aware way
- Keeping up to date with the local property market
- Managing your pipeline and performance effectively
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a lettings or property role is essential
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a professional phone manner
- Proactive, reliable, and able to manage workload independently
- Comfortable working towards targets
- A team player with a customer-focused approach

The Details:
- Job Type: Full-time or part-time, permanent
- Salary: £28,500–£29,500 (FTE, pro rata for part-time)
OTE £30,000–£32,000 (pro rata)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday (9:00am–5:30pm) & 1 in 4 Saturdays
(Flexible working patterns can be discussed)
- Location: Brighton (in-person)
- Requirement: Full UK driving licence
