Don’t leave it until it’s freezing, if you make sure your heating is on regularly from October onward (depending on the weather!), you’ll be less likely to experience mould problems, burst pipes and your house will be nice and toasty!
Did you know? It’s more efficient and cost effective to have your heating on a low constant temperature. Most people have their thermostat set to around 21°c when at home or use the timer setting for the morning and evening.
If you are using the heating for the first time in a while it is common to experience problems. Sometimes radiators need bleeding or the boiler pressure drops.
