Brighton local businesses

29th March 2021

With the excitement of everything opening on the 12th of April we thought we would give you guys some of our recommendations to support local Brighton businesses. Check out some of the following:

The North Laine Hair Company

Looking to get those lockdown locks sorted? Nestled away in the North Laines this hairdresser is a high-quality, creative hair, beauty, and nail salon that could help! They specialise in unique colours and creative cuts and have a quintessential Brighton style about them!

Bert’s Homestore

It seems like everyone has done some sort of home improvements during lockdown and this little place could offer you the final touches to complete your house. Bert’s has created a unique retail experience full of all kinds of fabulous things to kit out your home. They sell things such as Selling a vibrant mix of cookware, home accessories, gifts and retro toys!

Shelter Hall

So this one actually opens on the 26th of April but there is no way we couldn’t sneak it onto our list. Shelter Hall Raw is a unique new pop-up food market that brings together an eclectic line-up of Brighton’s best food and drinks brands under one roof. A great place to bring all your housemates where even the fussiest of eaters would be satisfied!

The Rooftop at Club Revenge

We know we have been missing the clubs and hopefully, it isn’t long until we can get back to them, but Club Revenge has come up with a good solution until then… The Rooftop. The bar sits on top of the LGBTQ+ club Revenge and serves an eclectic mixture of classic cocktails, quirky signature beverages, draught beers, and house spirits with breath-taking panoramic views of Brighton’s iconic seafront.

Resident

Been missing that concert fix whilst in lockdown look no further than Resident an independent record shop in the heart of the north laine. Resident a place of warmth, chat, humility, laughter, discovery and ultimately, sweet music. music for all ears, from all eras.
