Brighton council have received plans for a 135-flat development in Hove that features a 20-storey tower block that overlooks Shoreham Port, also known as ‘Millionaire’s Row’.
The proposal has already been branded an ‘eyesore’ by locals and has received nearly 75 objections.
The plans, submitted on behalf of Synergy Developments, are set to be comprised of 3 tower blocks, with between 9 to 10, 18 and 20 storey buildings. Flats will range from studios to 3 bedroom properties, and penthouse apartments, alongside 101 parking spaces (each with EV charging), and 207 cycle spaces.
To accompany the plans, proposals have also been put forward for commercial floor space that would provide a gym, restaurant, & office.
These proposals are all park of the wider Shoreham Harbour Regeneration Area, with further proposals including a new roundabout to combat growing traffic levels in the area.
