Freshers’ Fair Gave Us a Head Start on Next Year’s Rental Season

Last week the Coapt team attended the Brighton University’s fresher’s fair to gear up for the launch of the 2027/2028 student properties.

With thousands of students attending the fair every year, it is a great opportunity to meet possible future tenants.

With so many students already thinking about where and who they’ll live with next year, we may already have your next tenants on our radar before your property even launches.

Sign-Ups

The team spoke to hundreds of students, getting the Coapt name out there as well as determining current student rental trends and interest.

Lured in by the smell of freshly popped popcorn, the team was able to sign up 600+ students looking for student properties to an Early Bird list, creating strong leads for the start of the lettings season.

Coapt was the only lettings agency at the fair, further segmenting our role and goal of being the destination for student lettings.

Bringing our team to the students allows us to cherry pick the best tenants for your properties down the line.

Discounts

The marketing team was also able to secure further student discounts and perks for the student tenants.

Providing student benefits is an exclusive approach by Coapt, which grows strong connections in the community as well as being an attractive benefit of renting with Coapt.

In this month’s student lettings email, students will gain access to three new student discounts. 20% off on Sundays at Shabitat, free entry & shot on Monday’s at Barbara’s Bier Haus, as well as free entry on the weekends at Pryzm.

These venues are highly favoured by students, making renting with Coapt even more desirable.
